The short version
- Gus Gus Games has no accounts, no servers and no database. Your game progress is saved only on your phone.
- The game shows optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device information to show and measure those ads, as explained below.
- In-app purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your name, email or payment details.
- If you email us, we only use your email to reply.
This policy explains how Delvekeep: Pixel Dungeon RPG (the “Game”), made by Gus Gus Games (“we”, “us”), handles information. Questions: support@delvekeep.com.
Information we collect
We don’t collect personal information ourselves. The Game doesn’t ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or location, and it has no sign-in. Your progress (levels, items, settings, achievements, and a record of purchases so they can be restored) is stored in a file on your device and is never sent to us.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems you report, and we delete it when it’s no longer needed.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game offers rewarded ads: short ads you can choose to watch for an in-game reward, like a Wheel of Fortune spin or a temporary blessing. Ads are never forced on you, and there are no banner or pop-up ads.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Google uses this to deliver ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalize them. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Consent: if you’re in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland (or anywhere else the law requires it), the Game shows Google’s consent form before any ads load. You can change your choice any time in Options > Help & Feedback > Ad Privacy Choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalization, in your phone’s settings (Settings > Google > Ads on most Android phones).
Our ads are set as not directed at children and limited to content suitable for teens.
In-app purchases (Google Play)
Purchases are made through Google Play Billing and are covered by Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service. Google handles your payment information; we never receive it. The Game gets a purchase confirmation (a product code and a purchase token) from Google Play so it can deliver your item and restore it later. That confirmation is stored only on your device.
Clock check (anti-cheat)
To stop timers from being skipped by changing the phone’s clock, the Game may make a simple request to a public Google or Apple web address to read the current time. The request contains no information about you or your game.
Notifications
If the Game offers reminders (for example, that your crops are ripe) and you turn them on, they’re scheduled on your device by your device. Nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in Options or in your phone’s settings.
Children
The Game is meant for players 13 and older and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information (for example, by email), contact us and we’ll delete it.
Keeping and deleting data
Because your progress lives only on your device, Options > Delete Save File, uninstalling the Game, or clearing its storage deletes it. We hold no copy and can’t recover it. Information collected by Google for ads is handled under Google’s policies and the choices described above. To ask about anything we may hold (like an email you sent), write to support@delvekeep.com.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, or privacy laws in California and other U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. We don’t sell your personal information. For ad data, use the Ad Privacy Choices button in the Game or your device’s ad settings. For anything else, email us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Security
We keep what little we receive (emails) in a secure email account. Your saved game is stored in the Game’s private app storage on your device.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Important changes will also be mentioned in the Game’s update notes.
